Job Description: Job Summary: As a Buy America Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with Buy America regulations and policies. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct timely reviews of Buy America statements at the time of unit delivery, assess compliance with Buy America requirements, and provide recommendations to optimize procurement practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, legal, and engineering, to promote and support adherence to Buy America guidelines. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organization in securing government contracts and maximizing the utilization of domestic suppliers. Responsibilities: Conduct reviews of Buy America compliance at delivery of all in scope units including BA content statements and supplier documents as required. Develop standard tools to enable better monitoring of data inconsistencies including automation when/if appropriate. Assist with Buy America pre and post audit requirements documenting any adjustments take for future changes to processes. Document internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to Buy America regulations including monitoring activities. Stay up-to-date with the latest changes and developments in Buy America legislation and regulations. Collaborate with cross functional teams and forecast Buy America compliance for 6-24 months in the future including any current projects for improvement. Provide training and guidance to procurement staff and other relevant departments on Buy America requirements and compliance best practices. Prepare reports and presentations for management highlighting compliance status, potential risks, and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, economics, or a related field preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and evaluate data from various sources. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-compliance issues or gaps in documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using analytical tools, spreadsheets, and databases.
