Reporting to the VP of Growth, the Director of Performance Marketing executes on the revenue and KPI targets of our brands with autonomy to lead strategy, paid media campaigns, and budget planning. In delivering on the above, the Director of Performance Marketing manages communication with internal and cross functional teams, mainly CRM, Growth, Creative, E-Commerce, and Product.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement marketing campaigns using paid channels, with a focus on experimentation methods to grow our customer base in a data-driven and efficient manner
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of paid digital media managers across paid social, search, offline, and influencer
- Drive sustainable hyper-growth strategies across all paid channels, including but not limited to:
- TikTok
- Snap
- TV
- OOH
- Influence marketing-tech roadmap for the company to improve attribution and measurement infrastructure and methodology by working closely with the Ecommerce and Product teams
- Share regular reports to communicate tests, learnings, and results with the rest of the team and company, including lessons, action items, and recommended optimization
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5 of experience in performance marketing, acquisition/growth with a background in D2C/ecommerce company both digital and offline (TV/streaming) - you'd consider yourself an expert performance marketer, well versed in the full marketing model (building awareness, consideration, and driving customer acquisition through various digital and offline channels)
- Experience scaling D2C, subscription, or membership services for a range of consumer brands
- Experience in fashion/apparel is preferred
- Proven success leading in a high-growth environment
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and iterate quickly
- Proven track record of developing insight-driven marketing plans that deliver on business goals
- Deep knowledge of and first-hand experience of D2C ads (including paid social, TV, and OOH)
- Experience overseeing CAC and spend decisions across multiple channels
