Description
Job Description: Develop architectural planning and design concepts. Responsible for finished plans, specifications and approval of materials and construction. Conduct construction administration duties, such as site visits, RFI responses, submittals, and punch list reviews. Review project specifications and relevant data in conjunction with the drawings. Responsible for explorations of subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel concepts and methods. Contribute innovative design ideas that consistently capture the intended design vision. Monitor personal billing and works at maximizing team’s quality and efficiency in assigned tasks. Coordinate with clients, project team, consultants, and contractors to ensure trust and confidence. Contribute to bold design solutions that balance scale, aesthetics, and context to maximize the impact to the individual and community. Participate in team and client meetings. Architectural License required. Position may require incidental travel within Los Angeles County. Position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills. Telecommuting permitted up to 40%; employee must reside within normal commuting distance of company’s office in Los Angeles, California.
Requirements
Job Requirements: Requires a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Architecture or a related field, and one year of experience in: Designing concepts and assisting with construction administrations as required through the architectural design process; Developing architectural planning and design utilizing design tools and technologies, using Adobe, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Developing digital modeling and 3-D visualization to create and optimize compelling architecture designs via using modeling programs, including Sketchup, Rhino, Autodesk, and Revit; Analyzing and compiling project data by utilizing Microsoft Office, which includes Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project; Researching codes and regulations impacting architecture and construction projects; and Developing construction documentation for licensed architect using Autodesk products including Autodesk CAD and Revit.
Architectural License required. Position may require incidental travel within Los Angeles County. Telecommuting permitted up to 40%; employee must reside within normal commuting distance of company’s office in Los Angeles, California.
