Outreach and Admissions / Career Transition Specialist Manager: Join Our Team and Make a Difference!

Alternate Perspectives, Inc. (API) is seeking a passionate and results-driven Outreach Admissions / Career Transition Services (CTS) Manager to join our team at one of our Job Corps Centers. In this dynamic role, you’ll play a pivotal part in transforming the lives of young adults by leading outreach, admissions, and career transition efforts.

If you want to be a part of a dynamic team that helps young people ages 16-24 years old, this job is for you! You will be a part of the nation’s most successful youth training and education program, Job Corps, for the past 60 years.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise a dedicated team of Career Specialists and Admissions Representatives.
• Oversee recruitment, admissions, and career transition services to meet performance goals.
• Develop strategic outreach programs and partnerships with businesses, community organizations, and government agencies.
• Train and mentor staff in best practices for student placement and career transition.
• Monitor program effectiveness and ensure compliance with government and management directives.
• Coordinate and approve all student admissions and placement documentation.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience (including 1 year in a supervisory role). Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Technical: Proficiency in computer applications and data tracking systems.
• Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
