Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive
- Manage the waitlist and reservations using seating systems (e.g, Open Table or similar)
- Answer phones, book reservations, and assist with guest inquiries
- Monitor the dining room, coordinating with servers and management to maintain guest seating flow
- Estimate and communicate guests' wait times
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entry area
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
