What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Administrator position at NAPA TRANSPORTATION, INC.?
The Safety Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support for the Safety Department. This position consists of a variety of clerical duties and requires multi-tasking with an emphasis on accuracy and detail.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Lease Purchase/Owner Operator administrative tasks.
- Manage CSA, roadside inspection and tolling processes.
- Support Safety and Buildings/Grounds administrative duties.
- Serve as primary backup to title clerk.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
Education: A high school diploma or GED required.
Competencies: Excellent & effective written, listening, verbal and organizational skills; strong time management skills; ability to plan, organize & prioritize workload based on company objectives; highly detail oriented & results driven; proven ability to perform at a high level consistently; achieve or exceed all performance based goals & deadlines with minimal reminders; strong work ethic; adaptable, flexible & high tolerance for ambiguity. Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements: Essential functions of this position are carried out in a variety of positions including standing and sitting. Additionally, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, use hands repetitively for motion tasks, grip, grasp and twist. The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb stairs; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or bend. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitor screen.
