Concession Attendant

the Concession Attendant position is responsible for the day-to-day frontline food service operation at Centennial Grill. This position will provide fast, efficient, and safe food and beverage service to customers, ensuring the consistent delivery of quality menu items, and responding quickly to customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience for visitors. Maintain a full knowledge of food and beverage items available for purchase.
• Take food and beverage orders from customers using the point-of-sale system as well as to-go orders. Present customers with an accurate bill for their purchase, receive payment, and ensure proper cash and credit card handling. Ensure confidential use of customer information, including credit card transactions.
• Prepare food, condiments, and support items needed for shift.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment for coworkers and customers.
• Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, Illinois Food Handler's Certification within one (1) month of hire.
• Exposure to heat from appliances, smoke, steam, cleaning chemicals, food, and odors.
• Prolonged lifting, stooping, bending, twisting, standing, and cleaning.
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing 30 lbs on a (daily/weekly/monthly) basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30 lbs.
