About The Role

**This role will not be onboarded until August 1, 2025**

The Assistant Room Service Manager will assist the In-Room Dining Manager in planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the in-room dining operation to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This leadership role involves leading and motivating the team, maintaining high service standards, and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure timely, accurate, and personalized service.

What You Will Do

• Be part of the pre-opening team!
• Assist the In Room Dining Manager to select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach all employees in the Room Service Department, ensuring adherence to cultural and core standards.
• Support the creation and quality assurance of daily service sequences through daily check lists and hands-on coaching.
• Ensure the highest quality standards for all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Actively support the development of team members through training, mentorship, and leadership.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine, spirits, and menu offerings to deliver an exceptional in-room dining and private bar experience, available 24 hours a day.
• Maintain a visible presence in the operation, promoting a positive work environment, recognizing staff achievements, and addressing guest complaints, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally.
• Regularly assess the physical condition of the facilities and equipment, making recommendations to the Manager for repairs and improvements as necessary to maintain the outlet’s high standards.
• Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
• Monitor phones, orders, deliveries and pickups and any other related task to ensure guest satisfaction and employee support.
  
  

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a food and beverage environment, in a luxury hotel setting preferred. Experience in a supervisory role in Food and Beverage is required.
• Excellent communication skills. Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language; ability to communicate in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to use a variety of software.
• Position requires continuous standing for 8 or more hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish is preferred.
