Naples Soap Company is seeking a talented Retail Visual Merchandiser to bring our brand to life through creative, strategic, and customer-focused visual merchandising. Known for our high-quality products and exceptional in-store experience. Visual Merchandise is responsible for driving sales and profit through arranging and maintaining attractive visual presentation in windows, on ledges, shelves, and other areas throughout the store, and ensuring proper sales floor merchandising as well as accurate merchandise movement throughout the building.
Operational duties include but are not limited to floor moves, plan-o-grams, replenishment, stockroom organization, merchandising, and set up and removal of signs for promotional events/sales.
This position is not for a fashion visual merchandiser, nor for someone who is experienced as a retail store manager. We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years’ proven experience as a visual merchandiser or visual manager.
Other Duties include:
- Executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, and helping to manage the merchandising of our locations.
- Implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, replenishment, building displays, and returning display fixtures to the stockroom.
- Scheduling of work and timely implementation of all visual and marketing communication from the main office.
- Responsible for graphic implementation all year long.
- Completing projects as directed and meeting deadlines.
- Cultivating relationships with in-store management
- Meeting and coordinating with vendors.
- Maintaining and organizing stockroom and safely storing all fixtures for reuse.
- Participates in the execution of store presentations including, but not limited to, entryway, aisle, and sidewalls, and cash wraps as directed by merchandising manager.
- Updates main window presentation as needed.
- Produce quality work with attention to detail, in a consistent, timely manner.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Two years working proven experience as a visual merchandiser or visual manager required, not a retail store manager
- Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising background
- Strong attention to detail and works well in independent situations.
- Customer service focused
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Ability to travel when necessary for company business, 75% of the time.
- Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to accept merchandising direction for self-improvement and company objectives.
- Willingness to work early mornings, late nights, and possibly weekend when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
