Position Overview:
Security Guards will monitor Park entrances to assist ticket handlers in assuring that only paying Guests enter the Park and that they are not bringing in prohibited items. Patrol Park property, enforce policies, and respond to Guest questions or concerns. Aid in the search for lost children. Provide a safe and inviting environment.

Physical Demands*- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk or pace; use hands to handle equipment, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment*- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions.
Occasionally = Less than 33% of time worked dedicated to the activity.
Frequently = Between 33 66% of time worked dedicated to the activity.
Regularly = More than 66% of the time worked dedicated to the activity.
Position Overview:

Patrol Park property, enforce policies, and respond to Guest questions or concerns. Aid in the search for lost children. Provide a safe and inviting environment.
Job Duties:
- Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor while working and interacting with guests.
- Monitor guests as they enter or exit the park; inspect coolers or other containers; and prevent prohibited items from entering the park.
- Insure that all guests adhere to general park rules.
- Remain knowledgeable and respond to questions or concerns of guests.
- Resolve conflicts or guest complaints by using good, sound judgment.
- Aid in the search for lost children/parents.
- Assist ride operators in case of an emergency evacuation.
- Conduct sweep of park property at the end of day and give All Clear once the last guest has left the park.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Problem Solving Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyze information efficiently; and develop alternative solutions when needed.
- Communication Great each and every guest in a warm and inviting manor; able to remain calm and effectively communicate with others; utilize walkie-talkie to communicate with main office and managers. Complete documentation in a clear and concise fashion; and able to read and interpret information quickly.
- Planning/ Organizing Fill downtime with appropriate tasks; and work in an efficient manor.
- Quality Control Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work; Look for ways to improve and promote quality; and able to monitor own work for quality assurance.
- Dependability Follows instructions and responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; complete task on time or notifies supervisor with an alternate plan and timeline; consistently at work and on time for scheduled shift; and Ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- $15.25/hr
- TN Unarmed Security license is preferred but not required prior to interview. After a successful interview applicant will be required to complete the online registration process on the states website.
