GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Product Development Coordinator will support the product strategy and development for brands within the Naterra portfolio. This role will primarily assist in the maintenance and development of product assortments to drive line extensions and introduce innovation to portfolio both domestically and internationally. The Product Development Coordinator will work closely with Marketing personnel cross-functionally to support marketing campaigns, promotions, communication materials, PR, and social media campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Support key brand strategies, marketing plans and product innovations that will drive Naterra growth and disrupt existing category leaders.
- Assists the Product Development Manager in all aspects of the assortment planning process; including researching trends, performing competitive and pricing analysis, submitting lab requests, making product recommendations, and preparing for Sales line reviews
- Support International launches by maintaining and providing registration documentation to International team members with help from manufacturing partners
- Prepare and distribute product development briefs and spec sheets for manufacturers and other cross-functional partners.
- Support the management and organization of key samples and formulation documentation
- Manage aspects of item setup and the trafficking of key deliverables including sell sheets, product samples, and the routing of artwork
- Report out status updates on project timelines to PD team members
- Support cross- functional department initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as product samples, sell sheets, & item specifications.
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0-2 years of experience in a Corporate Retail or Product Development role
- Ability to create strong working relationships within company and external partners
- Ability to multi-task, and effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment while remaining detailed and organized
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a bias for taking action
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.23 - $23.07 per hour
