Natick Service Council (NSC) is an independent, non-profit organization that connects, engages, and collaborates with the community to support Natick neighbors who are experiencing hardship or economic uncertainty by promoting self-sufficiency.
Job Summary: The Director of Case Management oversees the department, directly supervises case managers, and provides case management for clients of NSC. This role maintains awareness of the needs of the community in order to serve as a clearinghouse for a broad range of assistance, information and referrals for the benefit of all Natick residents. This position reports to the Executive Director.
- Supervises case management team and assigns caseloads
- Sets goals for department, provides support and resources for case
Managers
- Manages individual caseload
- Responsible for program budget, evaluation, reporting client outcomes
- Distributes quarterly (and more frequent if needed) client communications
- Participates in strategic advancement meetings for the organization (for example: strategic planning, new program development, etc)
- Represents NSC at partner organization meetings
- Conducts intakes with new clients.
- Support existing clients to help identify and overcome barriers through utilization of NSC programs and referrals/advocacy to other local services programs.
- Works with clients to identify and prioritize service needs and develop alternative strategies for meeting those needs.
- Assists clients with completing applications, forms and accessing resources
- Advocates on client’s behalf to agencies, funding sources, landlords, utility companies, etc. as necessary
- Initiates and maintains close working relationships with local resources, engages in information-sharing and mutual consultation and participates in joint problem solving
- Makes financial assistance and/or advocacy recommendations during team case management meetings
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college, Master’s degree in social work preferred
- 7 years experience in case management; minimum of two years of working with low-income population preferred
- Good organizational, communication (oral and written), planning and creative thinking skills
- Knowledge of local resources
- Ability to work with and understand problems and outlooks of low income population
- Ability to work well with others and as part of team
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred

- Schedule: Full time (Monday through Weds: 8am to 5pm; Thursday: 8am to 6pm; remote Fridays 8am-12pm.
- Available to work minimal evenings or weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
