Commercial Roofing President

Prior experience working for Commercial Roofing Contractor is required for consideration.

The Commercial Roofing Division President is responsible for implementing the vision set by corporate through developing strategic plans to achieve the objectives of the business model while maximizing returns and minimizing risk for the company. Presiding over the entire workforce overseeing budgets ensuring departments meet individual goals and overall accountability.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement the organization's guidelines on a day-to-day basis.
• Develop and implement strategies and set the overall direction of a certain area of the company.
• Direct staff including organizational structure professional development motivation performance evaluation discipline compensation personnel policies and procedures.
• Meet with board of directors and other executives on a regular basis to determine if company is in accordance with goals and policies.
• Coordinate with controller and direct the organization's financial goals objectives and budgets.
• Review and execute all contracts purchase orders and pre-bid packages to ensure compliance with contracts.
• Effectively prepare and communicate in proper written form competitive job estimates by interpreting drawings and bid documents and performing take-offs for labor equipment and materials.
• Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the organization.

Qualifications:

• MBA or Construction Management Degree (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
• At least, 8 years work experience Project Management of commercial roofing projects
• Proven experience in management of daily operations
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers requirement for warranty.
• Ability to comfortably communicate both verbally and in written correspondence to senior executives project team members and consultants.
• Ability to understand and negotiate changes in contract language company schedules certificate of insurance requirements safety compliance requirements and all other contract related documents.
• Experience reviewing engineering and architectural drawings and specifications to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and schedules.
• Strong analytical skills and be an innovative leader in marketing and operations.
• Demonstrated experience in preparation and communication in proper written form competitive job estimates by interpreting drawings and bid documents and performing take-offs for labor equipment and materials.
