What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at National Bus Sales?
The Parts Specialist is an important instrument in successes and achievements of monthly goals. This position is responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and releasing parts that will be used to repair buses.
This is a full-time opportunity. We offer excellent compensation, as well as vacation and benefit packages.
Qualifications Needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
- Parts experience automotive/ heavy duty
- Purchasing and price negotiation experience
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and Inventory control systems
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates to purchasing the needed adjusted parts inventory levels
- Monitors freight on ordered parts.
- Ensures that the same high-quality level of service provided to all customers
- Works with the Service Shop Foreman to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for all mechanical jobs.
- Analyzes storage layout and revises as needed for maximum efficiency.
- Directs shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing.
- Inventory- Responsible for inventory.
