DESCRIPTION
The MSP Security Associate will monitor traffic coming in and out of the NCM Motorsports Park, checking waivers and registration for events/camping, and responding to situations as needed in order to protect property and assets, and to maintain a safe and secure environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acknowledge guests as they enter the Motorsports Park ensuring they are there for legitimate business or event-related purposes.
- Check guests in after hours for camping reservations.
- Respond to and/or monitor any reported accidents, disturbances, incidents or emergencies.
- Assist guests in person with issues or concerns and general questions.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, looking for ways to mitigate hazards, and informing violators of the Motorsports Park policies and procedures.
- Responsibilities are not all inclusive, additional duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience providing security or similar services preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of general security practices and emergency procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess strong surveillance and observation skills.
- Available to be reached at all hours in the case of an emergency.
- Strong skills and unquestioned personal and professional integrity.
- Ability to exercise good judgement and remain calm in intense situations.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work in differing weather conditions.
- Must have sufficient mobility to regularly stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the MSP.
