General Summary
This position is responsible for driving a commercial vehicle covering established route to deliver products
to accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drives side-bay or box truck to deliver products safely and efficiently to assigned accounts daily.
- Safely unloads and delivers products into retail accounts.
- Collects payment from accounts and records transactions on customer receipt. Reconciles payments and prepares deposit to banking institution.
- Completes all assigned deliveries promptly in an organized and efficient manner.
- Rotates delivered products in a customer’s place of business to ensure product freshness.
- Collects empty containers, rejected and/or unsold merchandise from accounts.
- Informs regular customers of new products and services.
- Performs daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections and completes report. Cleans inside of truck and keeps it organized.
- Listens to and resolves service complaints.
- Mandatory Overtime (MOT) there may be instances that require working past regularly scheduled hours, there will be exceptions made for family/personal appointments.
- Attend staff and other mandatory meetings/trainings, as required/per policy
- Understands and observes all safety rules and practices to prevent injuries and/or damages
- Adhere to all Company rules, policies, procedures and exceptions
- All other tasks as assigned.
Skills/Experience/Training/Certification Required:
- Possess a valid Class A or B license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous material handling preferred
- Pallet jack and/or forklift experience preferred
- Demonstrated communication skills to effectively interact with managers, sales staff and customers.
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to speak, read and write English at high school level
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Basic computer skills

- Frequent exposure to loud, unexpected beeping of equipment and sound system.
- Work requires exposure to daily temperatures to usual beer cooler temperatures of 38 degrees.
- Moderate to High stress experienced based upon seasonal demands.
