Relationship Specialist – K12

We’re looking for a friendly, professional Relationship Specialist for our K12 team. As Relationship Specialist, you will nurture current customer relationships as well as support former relationships, ultimately driving sales growth through increased sales for the segment.

Your Essential Duties

• With your friendly personality, you’ll cultivate strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• We want to make sure our customers are happy with their purchase, and you’ll follow up with customers on current deliveries to check that they’re happy.
• As part of our retention program, re-establish relationships with former customers and retain their loyalty.
• You’re also a go-getter and work hard to find the right solutions for customers, leading to increased revenue for the team.
• Keep an eye on your customers’ orders, reviewing their sales orders to ensure the proper items are secured.
• Collaborate with the logistics and purchasing teams to ensure direct ship purchase orders are ready and delivering on time.
• Work with the creative services team on producing marketing materials, flyers, recipes, and any crazy promotional ideas you might have.
• Occasionally travel to attend presentations and trade shows in your territories to collect new leads and show off our delicious food samples.
• Work with our corporate chef to share recipes and plated versions of food for POS photos– followed by (optional) taste-testing of everything Chef has made!
• We all help each other out and share duties when needed. You’ll act as a back-up to sales assistant for your team and assist with other projects and company initiatives as assigned.
  
  

Your Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• College degree preferred
• Sales experience preferred, but not required
  
  

You Must Be

• Able to travel overnight when Trade show assistance is needed.
• Quick to establish rapport and have good relationship management skills.
• Good at juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
• Able to reflect your friendly personality effectively over phone, email, and in person.
• Tech-savvy and able to navigate your way around Microsoft Office Suite.
