About The Role

Enterprise Business Services (EBS) is undergoing a transformation re-establishing itself as a quality provider of efficient and effective services to the whole of National Grid. EBS is overhauling several end-to-end processes to deliver a quality service to its internal users (i.e., BUs) and external customers and suppliers globally.

The Global Capabilities organization will lead on topics that cut across all service lines across EBS, such as strategy, service excellence, and controls. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, analysing and enhancing business processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of processes coordinating continuous improvement activities across one or many service lines in Business Services while building a sustainable continuous improvement culture using proven methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, etc.

What You'll Do

• Identify, analyze, and enhance business processes to optimize efficiency and quality within our organization
• Use your knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile), process mapping techniques, process analysis, and performance measurement
• Utilize your ability to analyze the function in question (e.g., R2R, S2P, J2L) and/or key transformation levers (e.g., process re-design, automation)
• Collect, analyze, evaluate and report on complex data sets.
• Solve problems with a proactive mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
• Proficient in using process improvement tools and software, such as process mapping software, statistical analysis tools, and project management platforms
• Manage change, including driving process change and promoting organizational adoption
• Manage projects with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Communication clearly an succinctly to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Be a proactive self-starter, comfortable in managing/engaging others and in dealing with and navigating ambiguity or shifting context
  
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or related role

Annual Salary

$79,000-$93,000

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
