Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the National Institute on Aging in Baltimore, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the field of immunology and molecular biology in gene regulation section of Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Immunology. Project aims to explore transcription factor, NF-kB (master regulator of Inflammation) target gene regulation dynamics in immune cells. Utilizing multi-omics approach the project will discover cellular, signal, and NF-kB family sub-unit specificity. The outcomes from the project will lead to pave path for better understanding of inflammation and differentiation processes which can be applied to the aging research. This role will involve laboratory work, data analysis, presentations and publishing.


Qualifications

  • Laboratory and Research Skills- Molecular Biology techniques, Immunology techniques, Biochemistry
  • Data Analysis Skills- Basic level of R or python is desirable or willing to develop such skills during training period
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant software and tools to analyze and understand multi-omics data.
