What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Call Leasing Consultant / Resident Assistant position at National Property Management Associates Inc?
Silver Elm Senior Living Apartments is looking for a competent Leasing Consultant/Front Desk Attendant to undertake the leasing activities of our 110 unit senior living community. The successful candidate will effectively explore the market to identify opportunities and secure tenants. This is an on-call position only.
Responsibilities
- Present apartments to prospective clients in a persuasive manner
- Assist in discovering suitable tenants
- Promote unoccupied units through various media and advertising techniques
- Provide accurate information on the different features of properties
- Validate application information and references
- Present leasing terms and close agreements
- Keep abreast of the property market status
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically
Resident care
- Assistance with food deliveries to the resident rooms.
- Monitor the phone and call system from the residents requiring immediate assistance. Contacting family members, emergency personal, sitting with a resident, etc. All as per written policy.
- Assistance in resident functions as requested.
- Control of the interior building lighting for daylight and evenings. Checking entrance and exit door locks.
- Collection and removal of trash as directed.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a leasing consultant or sales professional
- Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
- Proven track record of successful sales
- Basic understanding of MS Office
- Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
- Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
- Customer-focused approach'
Salary: $17 per hour
