This position is responsible for ensuring a positive member experience through new member onboarding, database management and increased Delegate/Division engagement. Identifies opportunities for cooperation with other business areas to meet or exceed the needs of all stakeholders. Accountable for Membership retention and growth through increased engagement.
Establish, Maintain, and Strengthen Member Relationships (70%)
- Establish relationships with NSC members through the managing and executing the new member onboarding process via phone calls, emails and presentations 50%
- Strengthen relationships by regularly participating in Division meetings to connect members needs with engagement opportunities 10%
- Maintain relationships by ensuring the data in Salesforce is up-to-date and accurate in order to connect member needs with NSC solutions 10%
Meeting Coordination (10%)
- Coordinate Delegate and Division meetings
Engagement (20%)
- Manage projects and engage in regular communication with, and build relationships in all directions (e.g., peers, supervisors, funders, stakeholders) to advance the strategy / program.
- Collaborate organizationally to share strategic ideas to strengthen Membership offerings.
- Support and encourage an environment that appreciates the diversity of employees and stakeholders styles, opinions and perspectives.

- Works independently with moderate-to-minimal guidance.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and at least 4 years of relevant experience including:
- Minimum 2 years experience within a Membership Association
- Minimum 1 years experience working with and managing teams of volunteers
In lieu of education, at least 6 years of the relevant experience.
ADDTIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS< & EXPERIENCE
- High levels of communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to manage projects and teams from start to finish with minimal oversight
- Able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Knowledge of safety processes and landscape, or willingness to learn

Some travel required, up to three times per year
