Job Summary:
The Training Center Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all training programs and activities within the Safety & Health Training Center. This role ensures the smooth operation of the training center, coordinates training schedules, and provides administrative support to trainers and participants for programs including CPR training, healthcare professional training, safety training, and OSHA compliance training. Additionally, the Training Center Coordinator will be a certified instructor, capable of teaching as a backup when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Coordination:
- Develop and manage training schedules for CPR, healthcare professional training, safety, and OSHA compliance training.
- Coordinate with trainers to ensure all necessary materials, equipment, and certifications are prepared and available.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, collecting feedback, and suggesting improvements.
Teaching and Instruction:
- Serve as a certified instructor, capable of teaching various safety and health courses including CPR and OSHA training.
- Act as a backup instructor when primary trainers are unavailable, ensuring continuity of training programs.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, assessments, and certifications.
- Handle participant registration, enrollment, and follow-up communications.
- Prepare training rooms, including setting up audiovisual equipment and arranging seating.
Resource Management:
- Ensure the training center is stocked with necessary materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage the training center budget, tracking expenses and reporting on financials.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
Customer Service:
- Act as the first point of contact for training inquiries, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to training activities.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all training activities comply with relevant policies, regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on training activities and outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in training coordination or a related administrative role.
- Experience in a safety and health training environment is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety training protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications:
- Must be a certified instructor in relevant safety and health areas, such as CPR and OSHA compliance.
