What Will You Be Doing?
Are you on the lookout for a fantastic opportunity? Well, look no further! Nationwide Power is searching for a talented individual to join our incredible team as an Accounting Specialist. You'll need strong clerical skills to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable duties with precision. Our new accounting specialist will be responsible for reconciling and posting payments, credit card submission, maintaining vendor relations, and assisting with billing and invoicing. Skills Needed to Succeed:
- Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, whether it's to our valued external clients or our internal team members.
- Efficiently handle the invoicing process for various services, such as emergency service, preventative maintenance, battery replacements, parts orders, and equipment purchases.
- Well-versed in utilizing customer portals for online invoicing.
- Accurately applying the appropriate state sales tax when reviewing invoices.
- Skillfully managing the setup of customer portals is another area of expertise.
- Processing and managing accounts payable through the user-friendly MyAP system.
- Diligently process and post RMA credit invoices.
- Seamlessly approving and entering freight bills.
- Entering bills for equipment that need evaluation and are stored in our inventory account.
- At the end of each month, meticulously reconciling the dropship battery inventory.
- Ability to effortlessly process credit card payments.
- Writing, proofreading, and testing clear and easy to follow standard operating procedures.
- Commitment to achieving the highest level of quality by doing it right the first time.
- Talent for tackling problems head-on, juggling multiple tasks effortlessly, and finding amicable resolutions for any conflicts that might come up with our customers.
- Seeking candidate with strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills to handle phone conversations with customers/employees.
- Proficient in written and email communication.
- Always ready to take on other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in AP/AR or related financial roles
- Two or more years of experience working in an accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Internet Explorer. Internet experience required.
- Knowledge of MieTrak Accounting software, and CRM software preferred.
- A basic knowledge in regard to UPS Makes/Models, Battery Makes/Models, and basic trouble shooting procedures preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Monday-Thursday 7:00AM - 3:30PM / Friday 6:00AM - 1:00PM
Compensation: $23-24/hr
