INVENTORY CONTROL TEAM LEAD JOB SUMMARY (4:30 AM START
TIME)
Inventory Control Team Lead directs a team of three towards completion of accurate daily cycle
counts of full inventory. Inventory consists of fresh fruit, produce, and a small line of dairy and
eggs. Inventory count will occur before operations open for the day.
Responsibilities
Generate daily count sheets;
Manage the count process, while participating in cycle counts;
Ensuring cycle count entries are accurate and complete in a timely manner;
Follow through on inventory count discrepancies;
Track inventory rotation and leave corrective notes for Inventory Rotation Team Lead;
Cross train Repacking Team Lead on cycle count process when this position opens up;
Assist Shipping Team Lead as needed;
Special projects;
Work collaboratively across to departments to address company needs as they evolve;
Maintain a team of inventory count clerks.
Qualification and requirements
High School diploma required
Previous Inventory Experience Required
Previous management experience required
Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
Dependable and reliable
Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be

Physical Demands and Abilities
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and
arms and talk or hear
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move
objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
Safely operate electric pallet jacks and possibly a reach machine, and to push or
pull a hand truck
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision,
color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
Specific hearing abilities required for this job include adequate hearing over a
loud work environment in which several pieces of machinery are frequently
running including pallet jacks, large shipping vehicles, motors, engines, etc.
Frequently required to enter and exit large refrigerated coolers, as well as work
in warehouse open to outdoor temperatures during shipping and/or receiving.
Must be able to tolerate working in temperatures ranging from 25 degrees up to
100 degrees; work environment may be cool and wet
Ability to multitask, reprioritize, and to make quick decisions and follow
commands of supervising staff

Salary : $38,600 - $48,900
