We believe that by caring for others and caring about sustainability, we can be world-class for our people, our vendors, our customers, and our community! : : : {align="center"} Company Values : : : : : : {align="center"} Never Settle | Care Deeply | Do the Right Thing | Exceed Expectations : : : Job Summary : The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for tracking all inbound logistics touchpoints at Natural Choice Foods including organizing and ordering loads, combining orders to fill trucks, contracting, and following up with carriers, ensuring timely deliveries and best rates.A Sample of the Role : Communicates with Logistics, Warehouse, Purchasing and Sales on scheduling and filling out proper documents (purchase order report, weekly / daily trucking dashboard) communicating any issues in regard to carriers, locating trucks, vendor / vendor-warehouse issues and appointment timesCommunicates with buyer / purchasing department immediately (same day) if there is an issue with finding truckingReviews all freight invoices and attaches all original quotes as supporting documentation for Logistics' Team Lead approvalMaintains reports and various data entry tasks including but not limited to daily logistics inbound and outbound dashboards, and trucking logs for inbound / outbound freight.Obtains rate quotes for all inbound loads as neededCompletes NCF Pick-Up Load Information and email to carriersDemonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills and completes all tasks in a timely matterFollows all Natural Choice Foods, Inc. policies and proceduresInteracts with diverse company employees and customers / suppliers in a friendly and efficient mannerRegular attendance requiredPerforms other duties as required.Your Natural Ingredients to Win : High school diploma or GED equivalent3-4 years of logistics experience or similarProven proficiency in software including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, web-based applications, TMS, and ERP / MRP.Displays excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail.Shows self-motivation and strong work ethicWorks well within a teamFunctions in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrates excellent written & verbal communication skillsPossess the ability to add and subtract numbers and to multiply and dividePerforms operations using weight measurements, quantity, volume and distanceUtilizes all Natural Choice Foods, Inc. equipment related to this position in a safe, effective and efficient mannerBenefits of a Logistics Coordinator :
