Nature's Sunshine is looking for the absolute best Issuing Operator to help us manufacture the highest-quality natural health and wellness products for our customers. The Issuing Operator has an important job helping to mix and sift our quality ingredients. We have a flexible schedule working four days per week. Day Shift FLEX 4 SCHEDULE: 5:00 am-3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday
Swing Shift FLEX 4 SCHEDULE: 3:00 pm-1:30 am, Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities
- Set up scales and other issuing equipment
- Issue product-to-work orders
- Monitor quality of production runs using scales
- Compare product with prior runs
- Operate mixing equipment
- Operate bin washing equipment
- Recommend changes to operational procedures on a run-by-run basis, as conditions change
- Clean equipment and room thoroughly
- Maintain records of production runs
- Communicate relevant information to coworkers
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience using metric system weights and measurements
- Experience with operating processing equipment
- Basic math skills
- General computer skills helpful
- Experience following written instructions and procedures
- Experience keeping accurate records on work orders
- Ability to maneuver heavy weight
- Experience with tasks requiring proficient hand-eye coordination
- Experience working effectively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
