Natureplex is a privately held company that was first started in 2001 and has been growing exponentially each year, is currently seeking a Director of Quality.
We offer our own control brand but are also very strong in private label and contract packaging of enemas, feminine hygiene products, over-the-counter medications, and personal care products. We are in northern Mississippi, just a few miles from Memphis, TN.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and strict adherence to a quality program.
- Develops and/or reviews standards, policies, and procedures for all functions and departments involved with or related to the production of all products.
- The Director of Quality has the authority and decision over the shipment of any product or products and accepts the responsibility for products being in compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
- Coordinates and assists with customer and/or vendor inspections.
- Periodically inspects completed quality assurance and quality control checklists, forms, and other documents; randomly inspects and verifies quality assurance and quality control checks for conformance to prescribed standards.
- Develops corrective action plans and ensures timely resolution of findings.
- Day to day execution of Integrated Management Systems, CAPA systems and QC testing.
- Receives and reviews all customer satisfaction surveys and customer contacts and complaints.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, management and other co-workers is crucial.
- Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of business problems.
- Ability to apply statistical calculations, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, and sampling theory as well as algebra, linear equations and other analytics required.
- Adaptability – Ability to establish and maintain excellent interpersonal skills and work well with all levels of internal management and staff, including outside clients and vendors.
- Dependability – Perfect candidate must be highly self-motivated and organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage and schedule daily work. Attention to detail is a must.

- Director of Quality Responsibilities
- Reviews and resolves quality assurance and quality control problems/concerns with the Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Control Manager, and others including vendors, customers, quality assurance personnel, quality control personnel, and any personnel related to production.
- Reviews complaint trends and product/component failure analysis; reviews corrective actions with appropriate personnel.
- Prepares reports and other documentation required by regulatory agencies and to support the quality function.
- Schedules and performs quality audits and reports findings to the President, Operations Manager, Production Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and the Quality Control Manager.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in quality or a relevant field of science.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control/ Quality Management.
- Demonstrated success in strategic leadership with problem resolution teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, as well as great attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal skills; able to negotiate and influence.
- Able to discuss topics at all levels (production floor to executives)
- The ideal candidate is certified in one or more quality related disciplines (e.g. ASQ, CQA, CQE, CMQ/OE, PMP).
- Experience using SAP a plus.
Organizational Relationships
The Director of Quality reports directly to the President. Supervises, trains, and assists all quality assurance and quality control personnel. Directs quality-related activities in conjunction with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and any other department/function that affects the quality of the organization’s goods or services.
