SUMMARY
As an ATM & Card Operations Specialist you will have the opportunity to interact with our bankers and contact center by performing a wide variety of duties to provide operational support for the bank’s debit and credit card programs and ATM network. Within this role, you will handle job duties including but not limited to, processing new and replacement debit cards, maintenance on existing debit cards, provide internal customer support by telephone and email on all aspects of the department, as well as monitor ATM/ITM activity.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
- 1 years of banking or financial experience preferred
- Flexible schedule and can work overtime when needed. Saturday shift rotation is a requirement.
- Demonstrates an understanding of applicable federal and state banking regulations, as well as, bank policies and procedures.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to function in an office environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during single person shift rotations
- The ability to converse clearly and concisely with verbal and written communications
- Proficient computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to become proficient with other internal and external systems applications, tools, and web-based programs.
- Possess the ability to complete verbal task instructions, follow written procedures, and adhere to daily task deadlines
- Possess a team spirit, willing to assist others and cross train on all functions within the department
- Must be accurate, detail-oriented and have the ability to focus for repetitive tasks
- Participate in and complete required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Privacy of Consumer Financial Information, Rights to Financial Privacy Act, Safeguarding Customer Information, and Check Fraud; as well as internal and external training programs, online training, and department meetings.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide efficient, accurate, and high-quality service while maintaining good customer relations both internally and externally.
- Complete customer requests received from bank branch personnel, the contact center, and other bank departments.
- Process new and replacement debit card orders utilizing multiple computer system applications.
- Perform maintenance functions on existing debit card accounts.
- Research and respond to debit card transaction approval or denial questions.
- Review and correct rejected debit cards orders.
- Review and correct debit card monthly re-issue reports.
- Review and complete lost/stolen debit card report
- Log and maintain all returned mail for debit cards.
- Review daily closed account report to identify debit cards to be closed.
- Respond and respond to Debit Card/ATM/ITM inquiries via email or telephone
- Provide ongoing support and expertise on new and existing services including instant issue debit cards, the Card Controls application, and Mobile Wallets.
- Provide ongoing support to bank branch personnel on ATM/ITM Status and inquiries
- Monitor ATM/ITM status utilizing multiple computer system applications
- Submit technician service calls with maintenance vendor when applicable
- Become cross-trained in all department functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position that may require schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
