Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced cloud migration professional to lead the migration of Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS RDS. This role involves developing and executing a complete migration plan and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a successful transition to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead database migrations from on-prem to AWS RDS.
- Convert Oracle/SQL Server databases to PostgreSQL where required.
- Collaborate with internal DBAs and support teams for post-migration readiness.
- Ensure database performance, security, and compliance.
- Create documentation for all migration processes and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS RDS and cloud database architecture.
- Proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on with AWS DMS and Schema Conversion Tool.
- Familiarity with IAM, EC2, S3, CloudWatch.
- Excellent collaboration and troubleshooting skills.
- AWS certification preferred.
