Job Title: Patient Care Technician (CWR)
Location: Neptune, NJ 07754
Pay Rate: $25 – $27/hr
Schedule:
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Days: 3x12-hour shifts/week (36 hours/week)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a dynamic healthcare team for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role supports nursing staff in providing high-quality care to patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and skilled in phlebotomy and EKG procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and identify patients upon arrival.
Assist in preparing patients for exams, procedures, and admissions.
Perform IV and capillary blood collections for all age groups using aseptic techniques.
Conduct EKGs as directed by clinical staff.
Maintain and ensure cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
Transport patients as needed within the facility.
Assist patients with hygiene, meals, mobility, and toileting needs.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and caregivers.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited Patient Care Technician program
EKG and Phlebotomy course certificates
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PCT or CNA in a hospital setting
Salary : $25 - $27
