What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Finance Manager position at Nayya?
Role Overview:
The Strategic Finance Manager will report to the CFO and work closely with the broader Finance organization and leadership team to help drive company growth and efficiency.
This is a highly strategic and highly visible role that requires strong analytical capabilities and internal and external stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders across the business to analyze their financial and operating results and turn insights into actionable results
- Own strategic financial models and projections for both the near and long term
- Own internal reporting to key stakeholders and quarterly investor reporting
- Execute analysis to evaluate acquisitions and investments, including internal and external market research, modeling, and valuation analyses
- Support build/partner/buy decisions and inform deal structures/negotiations
- Understand, analyze, and support the levers that drive the company’s long-term financial trajectory
- Manage cross-functional work streams from inception to completion
- Become an expert on the industry landscape and key opportunities in the marketplace
What You'll Bring:
- 4-6 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, VC, PE or other similar roles; experience in SaaS or healthcare preferred but not required
- Proven ability to think strategically and be deeply analytical
- Business partnership experience at the executive level
- Ability to summarize information and effectively communicate to investors, experience in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with financial planning tools and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently with limited resources
