What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Financial Contract Reporting position at NBCUniversal?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the administrative and payment process for the Theatrical, Television, and Home Video Reporting Groups as well as assist with the statement review process for the Theatrical and Television reporting groups
- Manage communications with internal and external parties to ensure proper distribution of Theatrical, Home Video, and Television Participation Statements and Payments
- Oversee effort to streamline statement and payment distribution process by leading process improvement initiatives including effort to boost statement portal accounts.
- Communicate with internal parties to highlight issues with setups, payments and process deficiencies as well as assist with external third party communication
- Manage day to day cash disbursements for the department
- Review theatrical and television statements for risk mitigation and accuracy
- Ensure statement review/throughput is meeting contractual requirements/deadlines
- Verify coding and approve payments through the NBCUniversal Accounts Payable system
- Work with IT and FCR Executive Director to provide input and innovate statement analysis/payment requisition process
- Partner in the development of efficiency projects with IT, AP, and Payroll with the Director of Process Analytics
- Work with internal audit team to research 3rd party audit queries
- Assist with Special projects as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Eligibility Requirements:
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Background with 3-5 years of participations, accounting, or finance experience in the entertainment industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as the ability to effectively communicate and lead a team is essential for success in this role
- Solid knowledge of Excel and SAP, PARIS experience preferred.
- Experience in working with IT in developing system enhancements
- Excellent Communication Skills with customers as well as internal stakeholders
