Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining client benefits
- Communicating with Social Security, Medicaid, guardians, and other state, local, and governmental entities to ensure all client benefits are current
- Files for the Finance department
- Assists with audits from outside agencies and governmental agencies
- Processes client eligibility forms for social security
- attends meeting and seminars on an as needed basis
- Any other duties as assigned
JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Receives direct and specific supervision from the Assistant Finance Director, and receives general supervision from the Finance Director
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid Ohio driver’s license
- Ability to work congenially with others, courteous approach
- Alertness in recognizing problems needing attention
- A neat and professional appearance
- Responsible, honest, trustworthy
- Willingness to learn
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physically capable of sitting, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, pushing and pulling,
transferring and transporting, fine hand coordination - Ability to distinguish smells, tastes, temperatures
- Ability to hear and respond to all modes of communication
- Ability to perform mathematical functions, evaluate and interpret mathematical information
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to remain calm under stress
- Ability to read and write in English
