Description
Major Duties:
- Evaluate and enhance instructional materials using current instructional design standards and criteria
- Evaluate training content based on learning outcomes to ensure alignment
- Revise learning objectives and performance tasks as needed
- Collaborate with technical writers, project managers and SMEs to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer?
- Construct criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop innovative assessment tools
- Work closely with virtual learning manager and publishing partner to evaluate e-learning approach and offer recommendations
- Ensure online learning tools support instructional goals
- Collaborate with test development manager and psychometrician to determine effectiveness of exam items based on instructional design standards and goals
- Review new and existing module exam questions and format to determine effectiveness
- Engage in user-testing sessions and ensure feedback is recorded, assessed, and applied.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders

Requirements
- BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
- Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology for a minimum of 3 years
- In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models, including online and print applications
- Strong lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Experience with simulation and 3D training environments
- Strong background in UX design and storyboarding
- Experience with course development software and at least one Learning Management System?
- Excited, passionate, proactive and self-motivated with an enthusiasm for learning
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional research and time management skills
