What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events and Administration Coordinator position at NCFC Youth?
The Position: The Events and Administration Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of the club’s key administrative processes and assisting the club across all tournaments and events. This position can be packaged with coaching teams throughout the year.
Essential Functions:
Events Coordinator
- Assists tournaments with incoming email requests, questions, and Online Check-In support during the Showcase Series timeframe.
- Manages the setup and teardown procedures for all sites during NCFC Youth tournaments.
- Supports other directors as needed for special events, including but not limited to the Golf Tournament, Tryouts and Shield Award.
- Expected to attend and support NCFC Youth special events, including Tryouts, Marketing and Fundraising events, and visitRaleigh.com Showcase Series.
Administration Coordinator
- Provides Playmetrics and other technical support to Directors and Families as needed.
- Creates and manages the buildout of available Programs and Packages in Playmetrics.
- With the Director of Administration creates Team Assignments and assists soccer staff with the placement of players into Tryout Team Assignments and future season teams.
- Provides and builds reports on a regular basis, including Competitive Program registration, Team Invite registrations, referee assigning reports, and other custom reports as requested.
- Manages a Monthly/Yearly Calendar of events and administrative deadlines.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
- Degree in Sport Management, Event Management, Hospitality, or similar field preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to efficiently multitask to meet deadlines for various programs
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Timely in communication and responsiveness
Job Type Requirements:
- Fulltime; salaried position.
- Typical weekday hours are 9am – 5pm, but it is expected that this individual will work remotely as needed and put in extra hours inside and outside the office to fulfill all job requirements
- Event hours vary but may require an extended commitment (10-12 hour days) on-site at facilities
Work Environment/Travel/Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Most of this person’s job is conducted in the office, but occasionally, work will require this employee to attend outdoor youth sporting events during all seasons, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather, to fulfill job responsibilities and event support
- Physical demands: bending, sitting, lifting, and event set-up
