Scale House Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated full time Scale House Attendant at Neal Aggregates in Punta Gorda, FL.

Duties

• Weighing trucks entering and exiting the facility
• Operate scales and ensure customer vehicles are loaded according to Company Policy.
• Tracking weight information: Entering weight information from the scale into a computer system and getting signatures
• Handling transactions: Using cash registers to process debit, and credit card transactions with customers
• Maintains good housekeeping in assigned area.
• Responsible for maintaining good customer relations. Generally, deals with representatives and customers concerning matters that require some tact and resourcefulness. Coordinates with other personnel including production and sales departments.

Requirements

• Ability to carry out simple oral and written instructions and deal with simple problems.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions and operate computer software
• Basic mathematical skills, including basic arithmetic functions and common units of measurements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
