What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Association Manager position at Neighborhood Management?
The HOA Community Manager is responsible for the management and operational oversight of an assigned portfolio that may include single-family homes, townhomes and/or condominiums.
To be successful in this role you need to have a thorough working knowledge of the industry and be able to provide management, direction and leadership to achieve property goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Direct report for the Board of Directors in managing the overall function of the Community Association.
- Maintain professional relationship with BOD, homeowners, associates, developers, builders and vendors.
- Manage homeowner communication to ensure a high level of service including timely and complete responses and resolutions.
- Compile and submit complete and accurate annual budget(s), while meeting deadlines and demonstrating thorough analysis and consideration for the goals of community.
- Manager and perform property visits, compliance tracking and enforcement of grounds, facilities, and equipment; hiring contractors for services like security, maintenance, and landscaping
- Prepare for and attend HOA board meetings
Requirements
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret federal and state laws, association CC&Rs, Bylaws, and other documents governing the operation of community associations
- Comprehensive knowledge of management practices, accounting procedures, personnel practices, association maintenance and risk management
- Must possess strong strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Minimum of two to three years Homeowner Association (HOA) management experience
- Industry designation(s) strongly preferred
