Your Role as Controller

As Controller, you will be a key leader in ensuring the financial health and operational excellence of our firm. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership, you will manage financial operations, oversee reporting, and develop strategies that align with our goals for growth and client success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgets.
• Design and implement effective financial policies and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and financial transparency.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Evaluate and optimize financial systems, ensuring scalability and accuracy as the business grows.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and cost management initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Credentials: Active CPA license required (from any state); an MBA in Finance or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience: 8 years in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a senior controller or finance leadership role.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency with financial software systems, advanced knowledge of GAAP, and experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Leadership Skills: A proven track record of mentoring and leading finance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a proactive, solution-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering excellence.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, merit-driven workplace and is open to continuous learning and growth.
