A Day in the Life:
Nelson Mullins is seeking a Document Services Specialist to join its growing Document Services (DS) team. Our team provides complex document support to offices located in all US time zones and across a range of practice areas. Specialist should be highly skilled in various document support software, able to prioritize and manage pressure of a deadline-driven workflow. Specialist will provide backup assistance in graphic design. This position is day shift hours and eligible for hybrid work arrangement.
- Provide high volume document production in a timely and accurate manner;
- Advanced skills for complex doc formatting, text conversion, clean-up, repair, revisions, transcription, cross-referencing, closing binders, pdf forms, proofreading, scanning, table of authorities and table of contents;
- Expert level knowledge Microsoft Word and strong knowledge base of Excel, Outlook, Nuance, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint;
- Understand and perform complex project instructions;
- High customer service skills through written and oral communications;
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform under deadline pressure;
- Effectively participate in workflow with other team members;
- Follow Firm, IT and DS department procedures/practices;
- Graphic design experience; and
- 2 years law firm and/or document support related experience.
Software Experience Preferred:
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification preferred; skill tests administered MS Word.

Salary : $42,100 - $53,400
