The Wedding Sales Manager is primarily responsible for booking and detailing weddings for the resort. The position will be required to embrace and represent Nemacolin's culture, vision, and values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide clients with a superior and personalized Nemacolin experience
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with staff members
- Establish strategies to target opportunities for increased market share
- Create and maintain an industry network through active involvement
- Organize and execute industry FAM trips
- Meet and exceed individual and team revenue goals
- Handle inquiries and perform extraordinary site visits
- Submit sales reports to DOCCS
- Create contracts, BEOs, and ensure accurate billing
- Attend and oversee events
- Attend weekly/daily staff meetings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent as well as experience in the hospitality industry Three-five years related sales experience;
- Luxury, high-end, destination resort/hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Upbeat with an outgoing personality; independent, passionate, and efficient
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Professional management and leadership skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Experience networking as a business tool
- Competent in word processing, spreadsheet, background in Delphi
