We are seeking a **Plumbing Design Coordinator** to join our team. This role involves coordinating plumbing design on projects using the latest BIM technology. The Plumbing Design Coordinator will work closely with the engineering and design team to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare Plumbing Permit and Design Documents.
- Create Plumbing Shop Drawings through careful project coordination.
- Prepare As-built Plumbing Documents.
- Visit jobsites for coordination and attend project meetings.
- Collaborate with project management and field staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Support the design team with modeling and adherence to project standards.
- Lead project coordination meetings when required.
- Manage and distribute coordinated digital documents to the project team.
- Link BIM to the project’s Construction Administration Phase (submittals, models, shop drawings, schedules).
- Create Revit assemblies as needed.
- Support electronic file submissions.
**Qualifications:**
- High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of plumbing design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Construction or trade experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
