Position Summary Information
Summary
Responsible for providing high level administrative support to designated leader and department. Perform financial and operational functions and serve as a liaison between NEOMED and outside agencies.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Budget Management: Assist with the development of the department’s budget and manage the related accounts including grants. Monitor expenditures, analyze financial data and provide reports. Oversee the utilization of grant funding, track expenditures and report outcomes.
Office Management: Provide organizational support for office administration which may include website updates, calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reimbursement processing, work requests for IT and maintenance, equipment and supply ordering, and purchase requisitions.
Administrative Support: Provide high level administrative and project support to the office; serve as point of contact and liaison between the office and internal and external and outside constituencies relative to activities and needs of the office, resolution of issues, projects and other administrative functions.
Special Projects: Manage or participate in special programs, projects or initiatives as assigned. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years related work experience in an administrative or accounting role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and basic web development skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
