Production Technician
Neopod Systems is bringing innovation to traditional construction methods through the manufacture of prefabricated bathroom pods designed, constructed, and finished to meet the exact architectural specifications required by our customers. Operating from the NeoPod Systems state-of-the-art production facility in New Braunfels, TX, our team of skilled professionals offer decades of expertise and leadership across Construction, Engineering, and Manufacturing disciplines.
We are currently seeking Production Technicians to join the Production Team. Responsibilities include:
- Safe operation of manufacturing tools and machinery while working on an assembly line environment.
- Monitors and maintains equipment to ensure wall components are assembled properly.
- Maintains a clean and hazard free work area.
- Read and interpret shop drawing and accurately measure and assemble metal studs, sheetrock, with screw fasteners and impact drills.
- Performing multiple construction trade task in the areas of Electrical, Plumbing, Paint, Wall Finish, and Tile.
- Maintains established pace of production at the determined quality standards in accordance with customer requirements and expectations.
- Will assistance team members in the safe operation of handling walls and materials.
- Effectively communicates with management about any issues or concerns with the quality of the work, blueprint accuracy, and/or materials and equipment needs.
Qualifications:
- Must accurately read a measuring tape to a 1/16 of an inch tolerance.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, and shop drawings.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.
- Exhibits attention to detail, mechanical skills and proficiency in the assembly and construction of building material components.
- Demonstrates ability to safely operate power tools and works efficiently, cautiously, and always with safety at the forefront.
- Experience in carpentry, assembly, and/or manufacturing and an interest in building things accurately, efficiently, at the highest quality standard.
- Must demonstrate teamwork and cooperation with fellow employees and members of the leadership team.
- Must be respectful of one another, responsible, and conduct work professionally and collaboratively.
