Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our occupational health team. This role is strictly focused on pre-employment physicals, providing thorough evaluations to ensure candidates meet job-specific health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct DOT and non-DOT pre-employment physicals
- Perform patient assessments, review medical histories, and document findings
- Interpret and evaluate test results (e.g., vision, audiometry, vitals, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and industry-specific guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical staff and medical director as needed
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Experience in occupational medicine or primary care preferred
- Certified to perform DOT physicals (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
