Information Technology Support Specialist

The Information Technology Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support for client projects, incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
• Monitor and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
• Provide training and support to users on various software applications and systems.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and IT trends.
• Have a strong discipline for tracking time and logging detailed description of support provided.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
• Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a patient, positive attitude.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
