What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant / Healthcare position at Nesco Resource?
Nesco Resource has partnered with a prestigious law firm in their pursuit to hire a Legal Assistant.. THis is a hybrid role to work 3 days/week in Uniondale and 2 days/week remote, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. This role will support a team of attorneys whose practices focus on healthcare law, corporate transactions, and business/commercial matters.

Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of law firm experience required.
- Prior experience in healthcare law and transactional corporate work is essential.
- Proficiency in document organization and review, including indexing, summarizing, contract creation, stock option plans, and financial statement preparation.
- Strong typing skills (minimum 55 words per minute) with excellent spelling, grammar, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Must be capable of providing comprehensive administrative support to attorneys.
- Draft, format, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Manage and prioritize incoming emails and correspondence.
- Answer phones and handle routine administrative duties.
- Utilize iTimekeep to track attorney time entries.
- Submit expense and reimbursement reports using Chrome River.
- Scan, email, and maintain electronic documents.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and teamwork in all interactions.
