Fort Dodge is considered a regional hub for retail and recreation, located just 90 minutes north of Des Moines, Iowa. Fort Dodge prides itself on its strong sense of community and we can proudly say the same for our Fort Dodge Nestlé Purina team—a small and passionate team producing over 130,000 cases daily of brands that you know and your pets love including Friskies® and Mighty Dog®.
As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for the coordination of all first line management functions regarding production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, management of people, quality, and safety, In this role you will be required to be a problem solver that drives Continuous Improvement efforts across the plant.

- Direct supervision of hourly employees in the processing department of pet food
- Manage and execute weekly production schedules
- Lead and coach integrated work groups to achieve results based on the factory’s continuous improvement plan
- Ensure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within “Good Manufacturing Practices”
- Support Total Performance Management (TPM)
- Provide safe working environment for employees
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
- 1 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
