Technical Writer 2
Location : Onsite Mon-Thu in Beaverton, OR WFH Fri
Salary : $40.00-$43.00 / hr
Duration : 6 month assignment
Responsibilities :
- Create, manage, and maintain technical knowledge assets.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and create technical engineering knowledge assets.
- Develop and maintain a library for knowledge assets in SharePoint Online.
- Evaluate existing knowledge assets and develop innovative methods for improvement.
- Develop knowledge asset templates improving user ability to find and use specific content.
- Transition and update existing knowledge assets to a new library in collaboration with a global team.
- Collaborate in developing and implementing website and knowledge asset administration and governance policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements :
Degree not required; hands-on technical writing experience preferred. 2-4 years’ experience (prioritizing those with closer to 4 years).
Top Skills Include :
Preferred Soft Skills : Collaborative, good communicator, and possesses influencing skills.
Preferred Skillset : Experience with structuring / setup of a governance process and ability to work with different types of knowledge assets.
Tools : Will work closely with Adobe tools & Microsoft SharePoint.
