Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receives, sorts, and distributes a variety of cable, equipment, and other materials.
- Compares incoming materials against invoices and/or purchase orders.
- Communicates with team to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, or non-conformance to our specifications.
- Maintains and updates warehouse inventory.
- Analyzes shipping information to make routing and delivery decisions.
- Calculates shipping costs.
- Counts and reconciles inventory.
- Assembles items, as necessary.
- Delivers or routes materials to internal and external end users using hand-trucks, sorting bins, and/or company vehicles for deliveries to external sites.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Must be able to use pallet jacks, forklifts and other delivery equipment or vehicles.
- Performs other tasks as required by the management team.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills are required.
- Must have ability to safely lift up to 70lbs without assistance.
- Self-starter / self-motivator requiring minimal supervision.
- Decisive and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must possess a strong work ethic including dependability and punctuality.

- Team player abilities are essential.
- High School Diploma or GED
- College or Technical School a plus
- 3-yrs experience in a warehouse setting a plus
- Perform quality work within assigned deadlines with and/or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, etc.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the need for communication and coordination of work efforts with other team members, departments, or organizations.
