Shipping and Receiving Clerk - First shift
New Berlin Plastics is a family-owned business started in 1975. We are adding to our shipping and receiving department to support our busy production team to meet on-time delivery goals.
You will be joining our team to prepare orders for shipment, driving box truck to transport finished goods and materials to and from the offsite warehouse, assist production with material handling, and maintain an organized warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks.
- Generate pick list daily, pull and prepare orders for shipment per daily priority list.
- Audit pick list information for accuracy including the customer order number, product, and quantity.
- Verify bill of lading and packing slip when receiving inventory; enter into the computer system and transport to the proper location.
- Consolidate and organize material and products in warehouse inventory locations.
- Assist with pulling raw material and finished goods for manufacturing orders to and from the warehouse to work center locations as needed.
- Drive box truck to transport finished goods and materials to and from offsite warehouse,
- Minimum Level of Education/Training/Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience working in shipping and receiving, in a manufacturing environment preferred
1 year of Forklift experience preferred
Valid Drivers License
